Mentions Francis Bacon and refers to the trouble caused by the execution of Mary, Queen of Scots: "Yt is reported that my Lord Hunsdon hath sent for a thousand horses which are in readyness, or else sent already with divers captaynes. Here is much robbing by the soldiers and sailors latlie come over about London." Integral address leaf addressed to "the right worshipp[fu]ll Nathanaell Bacon esqr. Sheriff of the countie of Norff[olk] at Norw[i]ch."

Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon (4 March 1526 – 23 July 1596), was an English nobleman and courtier. He was the second child of William Carey and Mary Boleyn and a cousin of Queen Elizabeth I. Mary, Queen of Scots (1542-1587), also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scotland, was queen of Scotland from 1542 to 1567.
